WNS, a global business processing outsourcing company based in Mumbai, has acquired automation services provider Vuram for $165 million to bolster its intelligent automation capabilities.

WNS said Vuram specializes in low-code enterprise automation services with expertise in RPA, OCR, document processing AI, machine learning and analytics. The company has industry specific solutions for the banking and financial services, healthcare and insurance verticals.

Vuram was ranked among India’s best companies to work for in 2022 (#52), and was named to the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. WNS said it expects the acquisition to be accretive to fiscal 2023 adjusted earnings.
