June AI has emerged from stealth and announced a $20 million pre-seed funding round it will use to develop its platform that automates one of the more labor-intensive aspects of enterprise AI adoption: implementation.
The funding round was led by Marc Benioff’s TIME Ventures and includes participation from technology executives including Michael Dell, Diane Greene, Aaron Levie and George Kurtz.
The New York City-based company is focused on enterprise software implementation, which comprises configuring, integrating and updating business applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, SAP and Microsoft. June AI says its platform is designed to automate work typically handled by implementation teams and systems integrators while helping organizations prepare existing systems for AI deployments.
Founded by former Bonobo AI executives Efrat Rapoport, Idan Tsitiat, Barak Goldstein and Ohad Hen, the company says its platform combines process mining with AI agents to analyze business processes, implement system changes and deploy AI capabilities across existing enterprise environments.
“Oddly enough, AI has created more demand for professional services, not less,” said Efrat Rapoport, CEO of June. “Companies are investing heavily in AI transformation, but the work required to implement those changes is still highly manual. Teams have to deal with legacy systems, fragmented data, complex workflows and years of technical debt before AI can create real value. That’s the problem June solves – we don’t just recommend the changes, we implement, deploy and drive adoption of them, deeply integrated with the enterprise systems companies already rely on.”
The company argues that implementation work has become a significant obstacle to enterprise AI adoption because organizations continue to rely on legacy systems and complex business processes.
