Intelligent document processing (IDP) provider Infrrd recently announced the general availability of IDPForge, a self-service document automation API that enables developers to build and deploy document processing workflows without going through the company’s traditional enterprise sales process.
IDPForge enables document parsing, classification, extraction and validation. The San Jose, Calif.- based company said its architecture allows developers to route individual processing stages, including layout detection, OCR review, table extraction and agentic review, to different large language models based on the requirements of each task.
“For a decade, we’ve proven that document automation can be fast and accurate at the same time, for the industries that can least afford to get it wrong,” says Amit Jnagal, CEO of Infrrd.
According to Jnagal, the platform also supports bring-your-own-key functionality, allowing developers to use their own credentials for supported model providers while relying on platform-managed inference for others.
The company is positioning IDPForge as an alternative to document extraction tools that require developers to integrate multiple services to complete an end-to-end workflow. It says it plans to add on-demand human-in-the-loop review, automatic accuracy tuning and API-based master data validation.
