HCLSoftware has announced plans to acquire Croatia-based robotic process automation (RPA) provider Robotiq.ai in a move that will expand the execution capabilities of its HCL UnO Agentic platform.
The California-based software arm of Indian IT services firm HGLTech said the acquisition will add enterprise RPA technology to HCLSoftware’s existing AI orchestration capabilities, enabling AI agents to execute tasks across enterprise applications where APIs are unavailable or insufficient.
“Enterprises are looking beyond AI experimentation toward production-scale automation that is secure, governed and reliable,” says Kalyan Kumar, president of HCLSoftware. “Robotiq.ai strengthens HCL UnO Agentic by combining orchestration with enterprise-grade execution, helping customers confidently deploy and scale agentic AI across their operations.”
Integrating Robotiq.ai’s RPA platform into HCL UnO Agentic will enable the company to extend its orchestration capabilities beyond AI-driven decision-making to the execution of tasks within enterprise applications. HCLSoftware is positioning the combined offering to support organizations moving from isolated automation deployments toward orchestrated workflows involving AI agents and traditional automation technologies.
The acquisition is expected to close in November 2026. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
