Healthcare automation startup TechNovaTime said it has raised $3.4 million in pre-seed funding to expand its AI-powered platform for identifying and automating administrative workflows in hospitals and health systems.
The round was led by AIN Ventures, with participation from Speedinvest, Multiball Capital, Negative Burn Ventures and the Techstars Follow-On Fund. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate development of its Enterprise Health Ontology technology and expand deployments.
New Jersey-based TechNovaTime combines process intelligence with AI agents that execute certain administrative tasks within existing healthcare software. Its Capture technology observes employee interactions across patient access, operating room management and revenue cycle operations to identify automation opportunities and estimate their financial impact.
“Software automation projects often stumble because operational knowledge isn’t documented in system manuals or EHR logs; instead, it exists in the heads of experienced staff and their daily workarounds,” said TechNovaTime CEO Youssef Abubaker. “We built TNT to bridge this gap. By analyzing how work is actually executed on the front lines, we prove the financial return to leadership before anything is deployed, and then deliver digital support directly inside the systems staff already use.”
According to the company, a recent healthcare deployment automated administrative workloads equivalent to three full-time employees within four weeks.
