NEWS FOR THE AI-POWERED INTELLIGENT AUTOMATION ECOSYSTEM

Serval Raises $150 Million to Expand Enterprise AI Automation Platform

Enterprise service management and automation company Serval has raised $150 million in Series C funding, valuing the San Francisco-based company at $3 billion. The round, led by Sequoia Capital, brings Serval’s total funding to $277 million.

Serval is an AI-based platform that automates workflows across departments including human resources, finance, security and legal, but most prominently IT. The company said it will use the cash infusion to expand Catalyst, its AI automation agent.

“Serval kills tedious work so people can focus on what matters. Everyone experiences some sort of friction in their day-to-day life that blocks their productivity and drains their joy,” said Alex McLeod, co-founder and CTO of Serval. “Serval gives all employees, beyond just engineers, a powerful code generation tool that allows them to automate their least fulfilling work.”

The company also announced ProServal, a professional services operation that will embed automation engineers within enterprise customers to identify and automate business processes. Serval expects to hire more than 100 engineers for the initiative over the next year.

Serval competes with established enterprise service management vendors including ServiceNow. The company said it has doubled annual recurring revenue each quarter since its Series B funding in December 2025 and recently added two Fortune 20 customers.

The funding round included existing investors General Catalyst, Redpoint and First Round, among others.
