UiPath said it has launched a set of agentic AI offerings aimed at reducing administrative friction in healthcare revenue cycle management, positioning the tools for both providers and payers.
Announced at the ViVE 2026 conference in Los Angeles this week, the suite includes medical records summarization, claim denial prevention and resolution, and prior authorization automation. The intelligent automation technology provider said the tools are designed to operate within highly regulated environments and connect clinical documentation with payer-required data formats.
Healthcare organizations face mounting labor shortages and fragmented systems, particularly across revenue cycle workflows. UiPath said its Medical Records Summarization tool converts unstructured records into citation-backed summaries, while denial management agents detect root causes and orchestrate appeals. The prior authorization solution automates eligibility checks and routes requests based on complexity.
“Since implementing the UiPath MRS solution, we’ve reduced the average summary review time from 70 minutes to six, a 90 percent improvement,” said Benjamin Smith, vice president of technology at medlitix. “Our clinicians are spending more time on direct patient care and less time digging through documentation. The structured output and citations give us confidence in what we’re reviewing.”
UiPath is partnering with Genzeon on prior authorization workflows, integrating domain expertise into its broader agentic automation platform. For automation vendors and healthcare IT buyers, the launch reflects growing demand for AI systems that combine orchestration, compliance controls and measurable operational impact.
