Appian, a provider of a low-code development platform that enables companies to build business applications, announced a partnership solidifying RPA as a major part of that platform. The company said its customers now can access Automation Anywhere through a no-code integration.
The agreement follows Appian’s January 2020 acquisition of Novayre Solutions that added RPA to its full-stack automation solution. The integration with Automation Anywhere strengthens RPA within Appian’s environment.
“RPA is a vital component of the modern workforce, delivering speed and accuracy that humans can’t match. But, RPA’s value is diminished when it is treated as a silo separate from the rest of the workforce,” said Malcolm Ross, Deputy CTO at Appian. “Our integration with Automation Anywhere is about making it easy for our joint customers to scale and manage their digital workforce alongside their human workforce.”
