German process intelligence technology provider ARIS has named Guillaume Bacuvier as its new chief executive officer. The company said the appointment aligns with its effort to position process intelligence as a foundation for enterprises deploying agentic AI.
According to the announcement, Bacuvier will lead ARIS through a growth phase, with an emphasis on expanding its role in helping enterprises understand, deploy and govern AI agents within complex business environments.
The tech industry veteran has held senior leadership roles at Google in Europe and more recently served as CEO of dunnhumby and Kantar Worldpanel.
“I joined ARIS because it is already a leader in process intelligence and uniquely placed to benefit as enterprises move rapidly toward autonomous and AI-driven ways of working, where they require a trusted foundation to ensure those systems operate with accuracy, transparency and control,” Bacuvier said.
ARIS is framing its strategy around the idea that AI agents require detailed process context to operate safely and effectively. As enterprises experiment with more autonomous systems, the company argues governance, compliance and operational oversight are becoming as important as automation itself.
The company said Bacuvier will work alongside a leadership team that includes a recently appointed chief financial officer, chief revenue officer and chief technology officer, as well as executives hired from enterprise software and consulting firms.
ARIS is used by enterprises across industries such as finance, manufacturing, energy and utilities, and is regularly cited by industry analysts in the process intelligence and process mining markets.
