RPA technology provider AutomationEdge grew its business in Brazil 50 percent from 2021 to 2022 and said in a recent announcement that it sees the country as a strategically important market for its business. The Houston-based company noted that its focus on midsize businesses would be important to the growth of automation in Brazil.

“When we arrived, we noticed that there was a market of intermediary companies – large, but not at the enterprise level – that was looking for automation solutions, but did not want to pay the asking price for large vendors. Our solution was a good alternative: cloud-based and simple to implement”, said Fernando Baldin, CEO of AutomationEdge Brazil.

Company officials said the global talent shortage and an opportunity in the home healthcare sector are driving its opportunity in Brazil.

“As part of the digital transformation that enables home healthcare, automation has to be connected as part of the journey,” said Siva Juturi, CCO of AutomationEdge Global. “Home care companies don’t need data centers or big infrastructure, they need back office, doctors, nurses, and clients – the rest can be connected via hyper-automation.”
