Process mining giant Celonis has partnered with an Indian academic institution to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) on the subject for students to explore the subject. KL Deemed to be University in Hyderabad announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding establishing the CoE that will give students access to Celonis technology to support their research, and for learning and training opportunities.

Process mining has become an increasingly important part of establishing effective intelligent automation programs by giving businesses more visibility into their processes, identifying candidates for automation and enabling better processes mapping and identification of problematic bottlenecks. Giving students access to the technology will be invaluable for those interested in process automation.

“It is another feather in the cap of the University which is dedicated to providing the students with the best of the learning experiences through the latest and highly interactive means,” said Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma, vice chancellor of KL Deemed to be University. “The establishment of the Excellence Centre at the KL campuses will be a great leap forward in the learning process of the students. The students will get opportunity to earn global certifications to complement their academic program, a platform for exchange of thoughts among students and industry experts, and be ‘industry ready’ when they complete their course.”

Germany-based Celonis said partnerships with institutions like KL will empower a new generation of more prepared workers.
