Digital Workforce, an RPA software provider based in Helsinki, Finland, has set its sights on the German market, opening sales offices in Munich and Stuttgart. The pureplay RPA company now has a physical presence in seven countries, including the U.S. and U.K. According to Crunchbase, Digital Workforce is the only firm specializing in RPA in the Nordics.
After the U.S., Western Europe is the largest RPA market, according to a report earlier this year by Gartner. Of the $1.3 billion in sales expected in 2019, the Conn.-based consultancy said 23 percent will be accounted for in Western Europe.
“The DACH market is one of the most advanced regions in the world with many large organizations interested and already starting their automation journey,” said Jukka Virkkunen, one of the founders of Digital Workforce. “With a strong economy and increasing cloud savviness, DACH was our choice as the next strategic market for us with local offices, and a team focused on the region.”
