McLaren Racing has been running cars in Formula 1 since 1966. But, keeping up with the best racing teams in the sport has become increasingly challenging for the British constructor. To help some of the fastest race cars in the world run races even faster, McLaren has partnered with San Jose, Calif.-based RPA provider Automation Anywhere.
The partnership has identified manual processes that will benefit from RPA and improved efficiencies and error reduction it can yield.
“McLaren Racing operates in a competitive environment dominated by fine margins, where seconds can have a major impact,” said Riadh Dridi, chief marketing officer for Automation Anywhere. “We are excited to help McLaren make faster decisions by automating processes across the team’s race operations.”
In addition to helping improve McLaren’s processes, the RPA company’s logo will appear on the F1 cars driven by Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz during the 2020 season.
