Microsoft recently announced an update for its Power Automate platform that introduced several new features. In a post on its corporate blog, Senior Database Administrator and ΙΤ Systems Team Lead Yiannis Mavridis detailed enhancements to Microsoft’s process automation technology.
According to Mavridis, key new features include new data table actions that were introduced as well as new actions that make it easier to work with Excel within Power Automate. Other important additions to the new version of the platform:
- Screenshot images can now be used as a fallback If the configured selectors fail to identify a UI
element - A flow timeout property is now available for desktop flows
- Embedded connection references are now available in public preview for desktop flows
