London-based RPA technology provider Blue Prism noted recently that First Central Group, a British insurance company, began using its turnkey cloud platform to expand the areas in which it can apply automation. The company has employed RPA in its underwriting processes and as a fraud check on new policy applications.
Digital Workforce, a global intelligent automation consultant and service provider, has partnered with Valta Technology Group (Valtatech) to bring the company’s services to the Asia-Pacific region. Valtatech will bring Digital Workforce’s managed RPA service, Roboshore to APAC as a channel partner.
Customer service automation specialist Jacada has partnered with Servion Global Solutions. Under the agreement, Princeton, N.J.-based Servion will resell, deploy and support Jacada’s portfolio of products around the world. Jacada delivers RPA and conversational AI capabilities through a low-code platform to design, build and manage virtual customer service agents.
Cambridge, Mass.-based Pegasystems announced what it claims is the industry’s first feature that automatically manages and apportions an organization’s workload among multiple available RPA bots. The company said Pega Robot Manager uses AI to manage how work is automated during surges or ebbs. Pega said companies can now be more efficient and save licensing costs by purchasing the optimum number of bots.
