SS&C, the software giant that acquired process automation technology provider Blue Prism in March of 2022, is holding its annual Deliver conference this week in Austin, Texas. The company used the event to signal automation is a priority by unveiling a preview of the next generation of its intelligent automation platform.

SS&C said the platform, scheduled to be released sometime during the first quarter of 2024, is cloud-native, making it more efficient to deploy and operate, but enables users to keep digital workers behind firewalls on their secure infrastructure. It will also include generative AI working alongside and across the automation features that comprise the platform. AI will support faster automation development, and more efficient decision-making. It will also make it easier to work with unstructured data like emails.

“We persistently evolve and innovate, ensuring our technology stays in stride with our client’s present and future needs,” said Bill Stone, Chairman and CEO. “Today, investment managers are looking for solutions to help them diversify and grow their business while managing operational complexity. We look forward to continuing to work with our clients to deliver tools they need to simplify their organizations so they can focus on growth.”
