SS&C Technologies Holdings has introduced an AI agent catalogue aimed at helping financial services and healthcare organizations automate complex, document-heavy processes such as credit processing and contract validation.
The managed-service offering is part of SS&C’s strategy to address labor shortages and streamline high-volume workflows with AI agents. The agents are built and tested internally before being deployed to customers, ensuring that each model meets performance and compliance standards, the company said.
The announcement did not specifically call out how the agent catalogue would be leveraged by SS&C’s Blue Prism intelligent automation platform. Likely, however, Blue Prism will use the new resource to offer customers pre-built AI modules and/or embed agents into its orchestration and digital worker framework.
American Life, a Nebraska-based annuity and retirement carrier, is among the first customers to pilot offering. The firm is using SS&C’s Credit Agreement Document Agent to automate loan document review and updates within its private credit operations. SS&C reported significant reductions in credit processing times in its own operations during pilot use.
“The ability to update credit agreements almost in real time will be transformative allowing our team to focus on higher-value work instead of manual upkeep,” said Georgette Nicholas, CEO of American Life.
The AI agents are built on SS&C’s AI Gateway, which provides secure and compliant access to large language models.
