As a relatively new technology, RPA does not have a clearly defined educational path teaching necessary skills at the university level, but increasingly, companies are working with educational institutions to make them aware of the value of an automation curriculum.
UiPath, which has been active in establishing programs with individual schools and which recently announced an Academic Alliance creating a network of more than 1,000 colleges and universities, government agencies, workforce development associations and nonprofits around the world, has now added self-directed online education in RPA for individual learners.
The New York City-based RPA technology provider this week announced it has partnered with online learning platform Coursera to offer automation education courses to its 92 million registered users. The course of study UiPath has created for online learners starts with basic introductory material and advances through RPA development and design strategies and methodologies.
