UiPath Partnership with EHR Platform Enables More Time with Patients for Doctors

Intelligent automation technology provider UiPath this week announced it has partnered with a “major Electronic Medical Records platform” to enhance the professional services it offers healthcare organizations globally.

The ability to extract structured and unstructured data from patients’ medical records to automate both clinical and back office processes has become vital for medical providers, insurers and other members of the healthcare industry. New York City-based UiPath said the new partnership will enable medical providers to spend more time with patients while claims and other administrative tasks can be more easily automated.

“The EMR market for hospital systems alone is expected to grow beyond $20 billion in 2025, which shows the worldwide dependency on major EMR platforms for providers, payers, and patients,” said Jason Warrelmann, vice president of Industry Practice at UiPath. “Unfortunately, healthcare costs also continue to rise in parallel. Automation and agentic automation are powerful solutions to lower costs and improve efficiencies. With professional services from UiPath and its qualified partners, healthcare organizations have significantly greater access and resources to drive down costs and automate more end-to-end processes with the goal of better care and more fulfilling work for healthcare professionals.”
