This week, UiPath announced it has assembled CIOs from a variety of industries with experience implementing RPA and intelligent automation strategies that it hopes will act as a trusted source of information for tech leaders exploring how automation can benefit their organizations.
The CIO Automation Council comprises technology executives from 17 companies charged with using their experience to share best practices, identify new business objectives and market needs for automation, establish industry benchmarks and influence industry regulation.
“The CIO Automation Council is designed to deepen relationships that help propel the automation industry and strengthen the CIO’s influence both within and outside their organization,” said Bobby Patrick, Chief Marketing Officer at UiPath. “The CIO Council members are visionary leaders who will contribute tremendous insights that will directly benefit their peers. We are taking an outcome-based approach to help CIOs realize the possibilities of automation to solve complex enterprise challenges.”
Members of the council represent a true cross-section of global businesses including heavy industry (Generac Power Systems, Daimler Truck NAFTA), retail (BJ’s Wholesale Club), the public sector (State of Washington), healthcare (Seattle Children’s Hospital), software (Intuit), and others.
