German process mining firm Celonis and Irish payment technology company Stripe recently unveiled a partnership under which the organizations will adopt each other’s technology.

Stripe, which rocketed to notoriety in the early 2010s when it developed a solution that enabled businesses to accept online payments with a few simple lines of code, will use Celonis’ Execution Management System to assist in making its customer onboarding processes more efficient.

“As a company powering some of the largest and most ambitious businesses globally, state-of-the-art customer experience and efficiency is business critical for Stripe,” said Eileen O’Mara, head of EMEA Revenue & Growth at Stripe.

The companies also said Stripe will enable the process mining giant to accept online payments via the Celonis Marketplace from its customers using a subscription model.

Miguel Milano, co-owner and chief revenue officer at Celonis said, “Many businesses approach payments in ways still so archaic and monolithic. We’re pleased to partner with Stripe to help us build a world-class billing platform that offers a frictionless experience in payments, billing and subscriptions for our customers and partners.”
