NEWS FOR THE AI-POWERED INTELLIGENT AUTOMATION ECOSYSTEM

Automation Anywhere and Gujarat Government Partner on Statewide AI and Automation Training

Automation Anywhere and the Government of Gujarat, India, have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand AI and automation training across the state.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on training programs, workshops, bootcamps and certification-oriented learning. The San Jose, Calif.-based comapny said the initiative will involve government agencies, academic institutions, startups and industry and target students, public servants, entrepreneurs and other professionals.

“Many organizations are beyond experimenting with AI and are now focused on using it to create real value,” says Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder of Automation Anywhere. “In Gujarat, we have a government that understands the answer isn’t technology alone — it requires people who know how to use AI, leaders who know how to govern it, and institutions ready to bring all of it together. That’s what this partnership is built to do.”

The agreement expands Automation Anywhere’s existing AI training initiatives in India. The company previously partnered with NxtWave on an initiative to provide enterprise AI and automation training to more than 100,000 students and is supporting AI Kiran’s goal of preparing one million people, with an emphasis on women and young people, for AI careers by 2030.

The initiative in Gujarat, home to nearly 75 million people, also will address governance as organizations and government agencies increase their use of AI. The partnership is intended to develop practical AI skills alongside institutional capabilities for governing AI across data, systems and workflows.
