KnowledgeLake has appointed tech industry veteran Billy Biggs as chief executive officer to lead the organization as it expands its intelligent document processing and workflow automation business.
The St. Louis, Mo.-based company’s platform combines intelligent document processing, workflow automation and content management capabilities for organizations managing document-intensive operations. According to a statement, its customers include public-sector agencies, healthcare organizations and commercial enterprises.
Prior to KnowledgeLake, Biggs served as president and chief revenue officer at TechnoMile. His previous experience also includes leadership roles at WalkMe and Cornerstone OnDemand. He succeeds Kevin Herr, who led the company through a period of growth that included a strategic partnership with Edison Partners.
“We’re pleased to welcome Billy to lead KnowledgeLake into its next chapter,” said Amy Kadomatsu, chair of KnlowledgeLake’s board of directors. “His track record of igniting growth at enterprise SaaS companies, and his ability to combine operational rigor with aggressive go-to-market execution, make him ideally suited to build on the extraordinary foundation this team has created. We’re confident he will accelerate what is already a remarkable growth story.”
The company said the leadership change comes as organizations are investing more in technologies that automate document-heavy business processes using AI and workflow automation. KnowledgeLake serves more than two million users and has received multiple Microsoft partner recognitions.
