Blueprint Software Systems, a Canadian company that makes software enabling businesses to more easily migrate from one RPA provider to another, today announced a partnership with Microsoft. Under the agreement, Microsoft users will be able to leverage Blueprint’s technology to transition existing automations to Power Automate that were built using RPA technology from other providers.

Toronto-based Blueprint’s solution “ingests” an organization’s automations from a legacy RPA tool, converts and maps the processes into the new tool—in this case, Microsoft’s Power Automate—and provides additional insight into the processes to optimize migration projects. Not having to recode automations from scratch, according to Blueprint, can save organizations 60 to 75 percent of the time and cost usually associated with RPA technology migrations like this.

“Organizations are increasingly looking for modern ways to deliver high-quality customer experiences, while lowering costs and complexity,” said Charles Lamanna, corporate vice president of Business Applications & Platform at Microsoft.

“Our relationship combines Blueprint’s  RPA migration solution with Power Automate, our intelligent automation service, to effectively transition customers to the Microsoft Power Platform. This will allow them to unlock greater value and provide more automations through our fully integrated low-code development platform.”
