AI Marketing Vet Takes CMO Reins at Automation Anywhere

Automation Anywhere has named Tim McDonough as its new chief marketing officer (CMO). McDonough joins the intelligent automation technology provider having served in marketing leadership positions throughout the tech space. McDonough’s most recent stop was Intel, where he oversaw marketing for the chip giant’s AI and data centers unit.

AI has become integral to automation platforms as it is increasingly used to process oceans of data, produce insights on business processes and how they can be more efficiently identified and automated.

Prior to Intel, McDonough held leadership roles at a variety of technology companies, including Unity Technologies, Qualcomm, and Microsoft encompassing AI tools, applications, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, and developer ecosystems.
