Between now and 2025, the global market for robotic process automation will grow more than 30 percent per year to nearly $4 billion in sales, according to a new report.
In addition to sizing the overall global market, the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Market Size, Share & Trends Analysis Report ($) found that companies providing services are poised to grow faster than those providing RPA software over the forecast period. Not surprisingly, large enterprises will be the biggest segment in the market, spending $2.51 billion annually on RPA by 2025. Smaller organizations, however, might reap outsized advantages from RPA, the report said.
“In small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) that face business limitations, in terms of financial and human resources allocation, the implementation of RPA is expected to provide growth avenues,” the report said. “As the deployment of robotic process automation can assist an organization to keep its operations as lean as possible.”
North America will remain the biggest geographic market over the next five years, but Asia Pacific is expected to experience the highest growth rate of any region.
