NowCerts, an Austin, Texas-based software provider focused on insurance agencies, has acquired 20 Miles, a CRM provider also specializing in the insurance industry. A highlight of the deal for NowCerts is automated workflow technology the Bay Area provider developed especially for insurance industry clients.
Prior to the acquisition, the companies had been working together on an integrated workflow automation product that NowCerts has branded as its Fusion Automation Center.
“AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) are increasingly becoming mainstream in helping insurance agents manage their daily workflows,” said Khuram Hussain, CEO of 20 Miles, who will join NowCerts as Chief Strategy Officer. “With the addition of, new Fusion Automation Center to Nowcerts, we will continue to add new AI and RPA capabilities that result in significant productivity gains across all parts of the Nowcerts platform.”
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
