RPA provider Automation Anywhere on Monday announced a partnership with DLT, a Herndon, Va.-based company that aggregates technology solutions for federal, state and local governments. The public sector at all those levels has become an important market for RPA technology providers. The bureaucracies are so pervasive and generally inefficient that government has been tabbed “low-hanging fruit” for RPA companies, with a vast array of manual processes to automate.
“Collaborating with DLT will bring tremendous value to the public sector,” said Jim Thompson, vice president of federal sales for Automation Anywhere. “When government agencies implement digital workers to automate the mundane tasks, it unleashes the potential of the human workforce to apply their skills and knowledge to the strategic mission.”
