A New York City-based RPA technology provider has partnered with an educational institution in Singapore to develop training and certification in robotic process automation focused on supporting the industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

Kryon, which offers an RPA platform based on proprietary AI technology, has established ties with Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore to train and certify a generation of workers in Asia who will become proficient in identifying opportunities to leverage RPA and implement solutions in a range of companies in the region. In Singapore, students can enter industry-focused polytechnics like Temasek at age 16 or 17 after ten years of primary and secondary education.

“By partnering with Temasek Polytechnic, an organization with some of the best education programs and teaching capability in the Asia-Pacific region, Kryon will be a strong contributor to Singapore becoming the most productive workforce in the world,” said Warren Ledingham, general manager for APAC at Kryon. “We are also commencing a joint showcase to demonstrate how a large institution like Temasek Polytechnic can adopt Kryon’s automation technology to transform their digital workforce to increase productivity and employee satisfaction.”

Temasek Polytechnic was established in 1990 and has about 15,000 students.
