RPA providers continue to release solutions tailored for companies responding to the coronavirus pandemic. Health care organizations are at the epicenter of any public health crisis and, in the current pandemic, need help more than any other vertical. San Jose, Calif.-based Automation Anywhere recently announced several solutions designed specifically for health care organizations trying to assign human capital to the areas needed most, while automating more rote tasks. One of the biggest areas of need is automating the manual processing of clinical case forms used in reporting to the World Health Organization. Automation Anywhere is assisting Britain’s National Health Service in this task.

“The new normal has forced organizations to adapt differently so that remote employees can remain productive and businesses can maintain continuity,” said Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder of Automation Anywhere. “We are proud to support the efforts of frontline workers in essential services, such as government and healthcare, as well as other industries, while mobilizing the power of the RPA community to address the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Maintaining productivity among an increasingly remote workforce is a priority for many industries. Automation Anywhere said it is making automation available for business continuity functions and contact tracing.
