While pureplay RPA technology providers are building platforms that can be leveraged by businesses in any vertical, software companies are still developing automation solutions aimed at specific verticals. Salesforce, which offers a solution for car manufacturers called Automotive Cloud, has delivered an updated version that will enable car makers to leverage AI and automation to deliver more “immersive in-car experiences powered by real-time personalization.”
Salesforce said the intelligent automation now featured in Automotive Cloud will use data to provide automotive companies with enhanced parts forecasting, lead scoring and inventory analysis.
The company has also partnered with Conversica to launch a pre-built generative AI integration that can move car buyers through the sales process and help manufacturers and dealerships build campaigns.
“Automotive Cloud creates endless possibilities with a comprehensive, real-time data foundation that enables automotive companies to do everything from powering the rise of software-defined vehicles, to creating new revenue streams, to delivering faster, easier, and more personalized consumer experiences at every interaction,” said Achyut Jajoo, senior vice president and general manager of automotive and manufacturing at Salesforce. “By layering in powerful AI, analytics, and automation, automotive companies can drive efficiency and growth, improve strategic decision-making, and free up time and resources.”
