In the wake of Hurricane Ian, software giant SS&C held its Deliver Conference this week in Orlando, Fla. The company, which completed its $1.6 billion acquisition of RPA pioneer Blue Prism this spring, devoted a significant amount of time during the event to detailing the rollout of a new intelligent automation portfolio that will operate under the SS&C Blue Prism brand.

The company said Blue Prism’s suite of process automation tools has been bolstered by existing SS&C technology around business process management and low-code capabilities to offer a more complete automation solution for businesses.

Post-acquisition, SS&C integrated Blue Prism’s enterprise RPA and intelligent automation platform with SS&C’s Chorus BPM, which it said will enable more visibility into and control over workflow management. The company also integrated a new no-code development tool that will enable business line users to build applications and automate processes without relying as heavily on IT resources.

“We are proud of the progress we’ve made in the seven months since SS&C closed on the Blue Prism acquisition, delivering a comprehensive IA solution with BPM, RPA, no code and AI capabilities,” said Bill Stone, Chairman and CEO, SS&C Technologies. “The flexibility of our model ensures we can tailor versatile, scalable solutions to our client’s businesses. Our deep expertise and industry experience ensures we can support our clients’ accelerated business growth.”
