Engage fi, a consultant for banks changing to new core processing solutions, has acquired Minneapolis-based Intellectual Dimensions, adding an automated data-processing platform to help clients navigate core conversions and M&A-driven system changes.
The Tampa, Fla.-based firm said the deal will allow it to expand its role in data preparation and transfer, which often presents a persistent bottleneck in large-scale core transformations. Intellectual Dimensions’ long-standing DataFusion platform will operate as a division within Engage fi, bringing business intelligence, data quality controls, and automated transfer capabilities under one umbrella.
Engage fi said the acquisition will reduce risk and manual effort in conversion workflows, an area where institutions often struggle with data normalization, validation, and reconciliation.
“This acquisition is more than growth; it’s transformation,” said Andres Pasantes, President & CEO of Engage fi. “It positions us at the forefront of intelligent data automation for institutions undergoing core conversions and those working to harness their data. Together, we will advance how financial institutions manage conversions, mergers, data migrations, and business intelligence.”
The companies said the deal is a response to banks’ need for automation in their data operations, especially as mid-market institutions work through consolidation and platform modernization.
