India-based automation and digital technology provider Datamatics has appointed Rajesh Gharpure president and chief operating officer as the company seeks to expand its AI-related services and capabilities. He is a tech veteran with more than 30 years of experience in technology services, business operations and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as chief delivery officer at Persistent Systems, where he led the company’s technology services organization.
At Mumbai-based Datamatics, Gharpure will oversee several business units and corporate functions, including Digital Technologies, Digital Operations & Experiences, AI Consulting, Solutions & Presales, Corporate Quality and IT Operations.
The appointment comes as Datamatics increases its emphasis on integrating AI across its services portfolio, which includes robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent document processing (IDP), machine learning, business intelligence and workflow automation.
Datamatics provides technology and business process services to organizations in banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and other industries. The company operates across four continents, with delivery centers in the United States, India and the Philippines.
