Agentic AI Dominates Automation Anywhere’s Imagine Orlando Event

At its Imagine event in Orlando this week, Automation Anywhere said the focus will be squarely on agentic automation. The event, happening at The Conrad in Orlando on May 13 and 14, will feature dozens of speakers including the former Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi. Automation Today will be onsite at the event, bringing our readers industry news from the conference and interviews with some of the biggest names in the automation space.

Imagine will feature 56 sessions over the two days with a heavy emphasis on agentic AI. Nooyi will join Automation Anywhere’s Chairman and CEO Mihir Shukla for a fireside chat focused on leadership in the age of AI. The event will feature numerous panel discussions and presentations on how AI agents can supercharge process automation, including one from Automation Anywhere’s Senior Director of GenAI Solutions Luis Barcenas on how to build an agentic AI solution lab.

During the event, Automation Anywhere is also announcing that its Agentic Process Automation (APA) system now includes what the company is calling a Process Reasoning Engine (PRE). According to the announcement, the PRE enables the APA to understand enterprise context as it makes decisions that can orchestrate teams of AI agents, bots and human workers as it automates business processes.

“This isn’t just incremental improvement; it’s a fundamental reimagining of how work gets done representing a significant step forward towards AGI for the enterprise,” Shukla says. “Our PRE is a pivotal advancement with specialized insight into processes across industries and departments – from banking to healthcare to manufacturing, finance, operations and customer service.”

In the coming weeks, Automation Today will report on additional announcements like this that originate from Imagine, in addition to presenting interviews with automation leaders who attended the event.
