BlackLine, an intelligent automation services provider focused on accounting and finance, said it has tabbed industry vet Sumit Johar to be its new CIO. Johan comes to BlackLine from intelligent automation technology provider Automation Anywhere, where he also served as CIO. Prior to Automation Anywhere Johar was CIO of MobileIron and has held senior technology posts at Tibco Software and Wipro.
At Los Angeles-based BlackLine, Johar will oversee information technology and information security. He expects the automation space to continue to transform business moving forward.
