Intelligent automation technology provider UiPath said it has launched a new platform designed specifically to build, deploy and manage AI agents, robots and human workers in a single system. Most of the platform is available to the general public on UiPath’s website to trial for free, but the company said some features will remain in preview.
The company has been talking about AI agents in automation for some time. Now, it says, because the platform’s architecture was built specifically with Agentic AI in mind, it will enable users to avoid challenges that have plagued the technology from scaling in the past.
The New York City-based company unveiled UiPath Maestro as the unifying technology it says will orchestrate cohesive workflows that integrate RPA, AI models and humans to optimize processes more efficiently.
“With this launch, we fully enter our second act,” said UiPAth CEO Daniel Dines. “We’ve built a platform that unifies AI, RPA, and human decision making so companies can deliver smarter, more resilient workflows without added complexity. As models and chips commoditize, the value of AI moves up the stack to orchestration and intelligence. That’s where UiPath leads. But we also lead in empowering people—to be more creative, more productive—and to reach their full potential. That’s where UiPath’s mission continues.”
