At Imagine 2022, its annual user conference held this year in New York City, RPA technology provider Automation Anywhere unveiled its new Automation Success Platform with added capabilities it says will deliver intelligent automation capabilities to any user in an enterprise. Separately, Automation Anywhere announced it had secured $200 million in new financing.
The company said the new platform includes integrated process discovery capability (the result of its December 2021 acquisition of FortressIQ), an enhanced ability to capture data from documents, a CoE Manager that enables better monitoring and scaling of centralized Center of Excellence command centers and a simplified suite of tools specifically for citizen developers.
“Businesses have an urgent need to accelerate transformation and scale automation to capture more time and cost savings,” Maureen Fleming, vice president of market intelligence firm IDC, said in an Automation Anywhere statement. “Solutions that can efficiently break the barriers to scale automation in an agile, secure manner will solve these challenges and forever change the way we work.”
Separately, the company revealed it has secured $200 million in new financing from Silicon Valley Bank and Hercules Capital. The cash infusion, it said, will provide Automation Anywhere “operating and strategic capital for the next several years.”
“We continue to be optimistic about the near-term opportunities for Automation Anywhere, as more companies scale automation and use the flexibility of our cloud platform to mitigate the impact of global events and navigate market challenges,” said Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder of Automation Anywhere. “The financing enables us to expand on our mission to unleash human potential by helping every company build a digital workforce and succeed with automation.”
